Looking for a fun and easy gift for a creative friend? A gift idea that looks impressive yet quick to make? In this blog we share how to make a yarn bouquet. We’ve made a sample with different types of ecological yarns from our collection, but you can also make a bouquet with one type of yarn.
Which materials do you need to make a yarn bouquet?
In below list we’re including the full list of materials used in the pictured yarn bouquet. But of course you can make your own version.
You’ll also need a vase and some paper.

How to make a yarn bouquet step by step
Ensure you’ll have nice matching colours of yarn. As you can see from above shopping lists we love them to be from diverse fibers. But of course you can also make a bouquet with one type of yarn.
Step 1
When using a high vase, add a piece of paper in the vase to ensure your yarn is visible.
Step 2
Stick the knitting needles into the wool and turn them into your stems.

Let the yarn rest on the ends of your knitting needles. Are you using different sticks? Then you may want to add a clip to keep the yarn in place.
Step 3
You can also add two balls of wool on a needle to turn it into a stacking yarn flower with multiple colors.
Step 4
Now is time for the fun!
Add the knitting needles & yarn to your vase.
Keep moving the yarn around until you’re happy. Drape some green wool on the edge of your vase.
