Please check your spam folder. Confirmation emails are generated automatically by our system upon the successful payment of your order and can be flagged as spam.

In case you also did not receive a confirmation email in your spam folder, write to us using our contact form. We will contact you as soon as possible to let you know if your order was processed correctly.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order.
If you receive this email, your order was successfully completed and it will be prepared shortly.

Can I shop without registering?

Yes! You do not have to be registered to shop at Studio Koekoek.

By registering, you can see your order history, invoices and save your personal information – so you do not have to re-enter it for each new purchase. Studio Koekoek does not store or have access to your credit card information.

How long does it take before you ship my order?

On workdays we ship orders of stock items placed before 13:00 the same day. Most back order items can be shipped within 2 workdays. In case we expect that it takes longer than 2 work days to process your order we will send you an email with an expected shipment date.

If you are in The Netherlands or Belgium you can also check our assortment at for speedy delivery.

Once your order is shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail.

Our digital download patterns are directly available after purchase with the link that’s in your order confirmation email.

Physical products are shipped from our studio in The Netherlands. You can find current estimated shipping times here

Can I return my order?

Customer have the right to cancel the purchase order and/or delivered goods. In the case of a return, you must notify us in writing within 14 days after you receive the product. You can make use of this return notification form or via email.  using your order number and specifying which items you would like to return. After your notification you have to ship back the goods as quick as possible, with a maximum period of 14 days.  Transportation costs for returning any goods have to be paid by the customer. Returns must be unused, in the state you received them, and in the original packaging.

Due to their digital nature, our PDF patterns cannot be returned. Custom orders and custom patterns specifically made on request of a customer cannot be returned.

We operate as design studio, rather then a traditional retail shop. This means that our products are not always priced and displayed. You can always find our prices at our website.

You can also pick-up your parcel at our studio. It’s a free delivery option in your shopping basket.

What about your journey to ‘Guilt-Free’ crafting?

Our aim is for all our products to be ‘guilt-free’, meaning they are made with premium materials made in fair conditions and where possible ecologically certified. We hunt for the best options, so you can enjoy your crafting ‘guilt-free’.

We are very proud that we are the first company in the world to launch ecological fabrics that are a perfect for punch needle embroidery. We realize that our efforts are (yet) only a drop in the ocean, but our ambitions are big. Volume does matter when you want to make an impact. We are very happy with every purchase made, and invite shop owners to place wholesale orders with us. Buying more volume together will make our little drop in the ocean bigger and bigger :-).

We are on a journey to replace all our conventional supplies with ecological and fair trade alternatives. For cross stitch fabrics our search proves to be difficult. Aida fabrics are very technical to weave, hence there are only very few weavers that can make this fabric. Gleefully we found a weaving mill willing to embark on our journey to create premium quality with ecological and fair trade fibers. But to start the mills we need to place a very large order. So we are looking for other designers, craft shop owners, and you to order together with us. If we manage to gather a large enough crowd we can start weaving!

Fair living wages are close to our heart. We dream of growing Studio Koekoek such that we can offer stable jobs to people that currently work under a living wage. We believe that working people – wherever they are in this world – should earn a sufficient wage to eat, house, cloth, and educate their families. We are still small, but every order makes our dreams one step closer.
