We’re stitching with 5mm thick Relove Cotton Braid. This is a cord made with 100% recycled cotton.

It’s a wonderful cord to work with on these big projects. It’s easy to handle and does not raffle easily when pulling through a grid frame.

It’s colour fast for regular washing, but not designed for outdoors use. With direct sun light colours may fade (you can always spray paint them to revive colours).

You can also hire a local specialist to impregnate this material to make it fire proof and/ or water resistant.
